About the contract

Ventia has been awarded major road maintenance contracts across Victoria’s Grampians and Eastern Metropolitan regions under the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (VRMC) model. The contracts encompass routine maintenance, planned maintenance programs and minor capital works, supporting the long‑term performance and safety of critical road infrastructure. Delivery of these services is aligned with government funding approvals and road network priorities, reinforcing Ventia’s role as a trusted partner in maintaining essential transport assets.

Originally from Iraq, Raghad completed a Bachelor's degree in computer science in Erbil in 2011. Over the next seven years, she held roles in accounting, administration, and customer service, working across the banking, education, and travel industries.

Senior firefighter

Following a 21-year career in the Royal Australian Navy, Samantha joined Ventia to continue her service to the Defence community. As a Senior Firefighter at HMAS Stirling, she values the trust and honesty essential to her team’s success.
