Local councils are responsible for taking care of roads and traffic, parks and recreation, urban planning and community facilities to ensure that public property and shared spaces are maintained to be enjoyed by all members of the community. As a trusted partner for Local Government, and with experience across the span of key municipal responsibilities, we work to improve council operations, increase efficiencies and make local communities a better place to live, work and visit. 

Supporting local governments throughout Australia and New Zealand with best-practice facilities management services, our people care for parks, buildings and amenities such as libraries, community halls, pools and sports field renovations. We also offer environmental services where we work closely with councils, local boards and groups to ensure sustainable outcomes for communities in some of Australia and New Zealand’s most prominent localities.  

Housing 

Providing short-term emergency accommodation and long-term, secure, affordable public, community and Aboriginal housing for people on low incomes, or who may be at risk, is a significant responsibly for governments, community and not-for-profit agencies. For over 25 years our team has worked closely with Government, local community groups and community housing providers to provide training, skills and employment opportunities to vulnerable tenants. 

Social housing tenants are among the most vulnerable of people in our communities, often with complex needs. Being able to contribute positively to society and ‘break the cycle’ of their struggle can be challenging. At Ventia, we work closely with tenant participation groups and programs to share information on initiatives, align our efforts and provide mutual support to benefit overall social housing outcomes.
