Recruitment and retention of Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders is the focus of Ventia’s Indigenous Employment team TRECCA. The team helps break employment barriers and create a culturally safe environment that fosters employee retention and advancement.
TRECCA supports candidates and employees through:
Outreach to individuals and communities to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates to apply for jobs with Ventia
Assistance to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people apply and be job-ready, including assistance with transportation and interview readiness, pre-employment checks, certifications, uniforms and more
Ongoing support during employment, to help ensure our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees are supported in their roles and encouraged and supported to advance professionally in their careers
Supporting an increase in the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders in our business.
