About the Opportunity 
Ventia are seeking an Entry-Level Project Manager to join our Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your project management career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

 

In this role, you will assist in delivering small to intermediate projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will help manage project plans, scope definition, timelines, quality assurance, and financial control, while ensuring effective communication with clients and stakeholders. As an Entry-Level Project Manager, you’ll be guided and mentored to develop your skills, with opportunities for career growth.

 

We currently have two opportunities available: One permanent, full-time role and a second fixed-term contract for 12 months. Both are based in Adelaide (metro area); however we welcome applications from both metro and regional areas.

Key Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Support the project team in delivering key milestones, ensuring asset maintenance aligns with project requirements, including sustainability goals and subcontractor performance.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, assisting in the management of project delivery and addressing escalations as needed.
  • Collaborate with Project and Asset teams to help generate insightful performance reports.
  • Assist in facilitating on-site activities, including kick-off meetings, toolbox talks, and safety sessions, ensuring compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards.
  • Help ensure timely project completion, meeting milestones and KPIs, with occasional travel within the region as required.

 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project management or relevant industry experience. (Preferred but not required.) 
  • Competent in a range of project management software.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors in the operation of their duties.
  • Project reporting, monitoring and rectification reporting and forecasting.
  • Practical experience managing the full life cycle of projects. 
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability in influencing outcomes across stakeholders.
