Are you ready to make a real difference across South Australia? As a Procurement Coordinator with Ventia’s AGFMA contract, you’ll play a vital role in delivering smart, efficient, and high-impact procurement solutions that support essential services across more than 5,000 government sites.
From schools and hospitals to police stations and community facilities, the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) touches the lives of South Australians every day. Based in our Adelaide CBD office, you’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage procurement activities in line with our Procurement Framework, while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and ethical practice.

About the Role
- Execute end-to-end procurement activities including planning, supplier engagement, RFx management, and contract execution.
- Prepare RFx documentation, chair evaluation panels, and produce purchase recommendations.
- Provide supplier training and guidance, manage award communications, and deliver feedback to unsuccessful bidders.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to produce purchasing documentation (e.g. Master Services Agreements, Purchase Orders)
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, procurement frameworks, and relevant regulations, while promoting a safety-first culture.
- Maintain procurement-related information systems and ensure accurate reporting.
- Contribute to team-based initiatives, support continuous improvement, and uphold ethical standards in all procurement activities.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or CIPS certification (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in procurement or sourcing within relevant industries such as facility management, construction, government, or utilities.
- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, process compliance, and financial principles to evaluate proposals.
- Skilled in SAP Ariba or similar e-procurement tools, with proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with high attention to detail and strong report-writing capabilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering value and building strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships and contributes to shared success.
