Ventia are currently seeking a Strategic Planning Coordinator responsible for ensuring that planned maintenance, refurbishment, repairs and replacement services are delivered in line with the AGFMA contract and the Agencies’ Strategic Asset Management Plans. 

You will work closely with Operations, Assets, Projects, Planning, Sustainability and Engineering Teams as well as Service Delivery Partners to drive sustainable improvement in the planning of corrective maintenance activities to deliver a cost-effective sustainable uplift of the assets under our management. 

The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:

  • Ensure Maintenance Plans in SAP are aligned with the AGFMA contract and the Agencies’ Strategic Asset Management Plans as well as the Annual and Long-Term Service Delivery Plans.
  • Manage Maintenance Plan changes in SAP as required.
  • Liaise with Operational Planning Team to ensure Planned Maintenance workorders are dispatched to Vendors in accordance with the Maintenance Plan 
  • Implement and manage the corrective maintenance process to ensure corrective maintenance activities are properly classified, planned and executed.
  • Responsibility for the quality of corrective maintenance history feedback including Asset condition and fault history 
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Partners to ensure corrective maintenance activities are correctly identified, quoted, executed and reported 
  • Provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding appropriate maintenance strategies for the assets under their control.
  • Collect and analyze complex data to support strategic decisions in asset management

Education and qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering or Communication (desirable but not prerequisite)
  • Qualifications in risk management (highly regarded) 
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of quality, WHS and Environmental and risk management systems
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant standards, regulations and statutory requirements
  • Knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems and lifecycle models

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a team to achieve contract outcomes and team growth
  • Extensive experience in Asset management and maintenance planning
  • Excellent Knowledge of SAP PM user module 
  • Proven experience in the management of a large portfolio of assets
  • Highly developed general business management skills, including finance and computer literacy with the ability to analyse data and make business recommendations
  • Advance knowledge and practical understanding of work planning and scheduling practices and procedures
  • Highly articulate with effective verbal and written communication skills
