Trade Coordinator

The Opportunity 
Ventia has been awarded the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia. 
We are currently seeking an experienced Trade Coordinator to provide oversight on preventative and reactive repair and maintenance at Flinders Medical Centre.

What we are seeking
The Trade Coordinator will manage and coordinate sub-contractors and drive the internal trades team to repair and maintain the hospitals assets. If you hold the following qualifications, licences, and experience, apply now to considered on this exciting new contract.  

Provide site-based oversight of works assigned to the trades ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.
Ensure works are completed by competent and qualified trades people within timeframes specified in work orders to the required work standards and/or the standard detailed in materiel specific instructions, including works completed by subcontracted trades. 
Coordinate and ensure the delivery of complex operational functions that support the delivery of maintenance services and contribute to the ongoing reliability of site assets
Administer the delivery of <$50k projects 

Requirements

• You will be required to hold an electrical licence
• White Card 
• First Aid 
• Current Drivers Licence (mandatory) 
• Working with children & vulnerable people check
• Police check 

Competencies

• Ability to adhere to safety client requirements compliance and standards 
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance and capital works, ideally in a Hospital/ Health environment.
• Previous experience in managing trades across a large asset-based portfolio 
• Ability to maintain and register maintenance records using computerised programs
• Strategically allocate maintenance schedules and activities to trades 
• Willingness to participate in an on-call roster
