The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Transmission Linesworker - Apprentice/Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Transmission Overhead. The role involves working on high-voltage transmission infrastructure, supporting the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead power lines.

Key responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage transmission lines and associated infrastructure.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in linework.
- Handle installation and maintenance tasks in elevated work environments.
- Follow strict safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in on-the-job and classroom-based training.
- Support qualified tradespeople and work as part of a team.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- A strong interest in the electrical and energy industry.
- Electrical trade background or pre-apprenticeship training (Highly regarded).
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
- Willingness to work outdoors.
- Safety-focused team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must meet the entry requirements for Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Transmission Overhead.
- Able to pass a pre-employment checks: in-clinic medical (including drug/alcohol testing), police check and reference checks.
- Current driver’s licence (or working towards obtaining one).
