Vendor Help Team Lead

Opportunity:
Ventia is seeking a skilled Vendor Help Team Lead to manage and coordinate the vendor help team in the delivery of services under the AGFMA contract. This role oversees the full subcontract lifecycle, from contract onboarding to performance monitoring and support.
The Vendor Help Team Lead ensures compliance with AGFMA and other contractual obligations, aligning the supply chain with head contract objectives. The Vendor Help Team will report directly to the Vendor Help Team Lead, who will provide guidance and leadership to ensure the successful execution of vendor help processes.
This is a permanent full-time role, based at our AGFMA head office in Wakefield Street, Adelaide CBD, working Monday to Friday. You will ensure Ventia maintains a compliant, effective supply chain and meets its contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of the Vendor Help Team, ensuring smooth operations and escalating performance concerns to the Subcontract Manager.
- Oversee subcontractor onboarding, ensuring alignment with Ventia policies, head contractor requirements, and regulatory compliance, in collaboration with Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams.
- Monitor subcontractor performance across compliance, onboarding, good news stories, and complaints; maintain accurate vendor records in systems such as SharePoint and Rapid Global.
- Lead subcontractor communications, address inquiries, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engagement and performance.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and manage ongoing vendor compliance, driving continuous improvement programs.
Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., customer service, help desk or high-volume call centre management, or trade background).
- Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractor/vendor compliance, performance monitoring, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of subcontractor lifecycle, audit processes, and maintaining vendor records in systems like SharePoint and Rapid Global.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on fostering relationships with internal stakeholders and supporting contract negotiations.
