Zonal Subcontract Coordinator

The Role:

Ventia are currently seeking a Zonal Subcontractor Coordinator to manage, coordinate and administer the subcontractor activities associated with the delivery of services to the client.

The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:

• Coordinate the engagement of subcontractors in collaboration with Procurement, Commercial and Operations teams, ensuring:
  • Compliance with Ventia policies and procedures for Subcontractor engagement.
  • Compliance with head contractor requirements for Subcontractor engagement and service delivery.
  • Provide support to Operations teams in the development and negotiation of contracts for services, incorporating pricing and SOW elements.
• Coordinate the control and subcontract management activities, in collaboration with the Operations teams, ensuring:
  • Performance monitoring and management is conducted, administered, and recorded in systems.
  • Financial and cost management of subcontract activities is conducted in accordance with head contract requirements.
  • Associated administration activities and systems are maintained.
  • An audit program is established, implemented, and managed, incorporating responsibility for corrective actions and business improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance with Ventia policies and procedures for Subcontractor planning and management.

Key Skills & Experience: 

• Tertiary or trade qualifications in an applicable discipline
• Knowledge of construction/facilities management, project and program control principles and practices (i.e. budgeting etc).
• Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
