Project Officer

About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Officer to join our team as part of Ventia’s long-standing contract in Defence maintenance. 

The Project Officer will play a crucial role in supporting and managing the Mid-Life Refresh project on Defence assets and equipment within the Australian Defence Force. 

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement and longevity of Australia's defence capabilities. This opportunity is based on site at the Bandiana Defence Base. 
 
This is a full-time role operating from Monday to Thursday (7.00am – 3.45pm) and half-day Fridays from 7.00am - 12.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take scope from clients and translate requirements into an actionable project plan.
• Provide statement of works, quotes and costings to Defence clientele 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, technicians, fitters and relevant military personnel, to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ongoing management of projects

Key Skills & Attributes Include:

• Project Management experience desirable
• Defence experience desirable
• Mechanical trade background and experience 
• MILIS experience desirable 
• Must be an Australian citizen and able to complete an Australian Federal Police Check
