Plumber

Ventia provides facilities management services to the City of Sydney’s portfolio of 251 assets, including libraries, leisure centres, depots, commercial buildings, and iconic sites like Sydney Town Hall and the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre.

We’re hiring two full-time Plumbers to join our growing team, working across Sydney’s CBD to deliver maintenance services at a variety of community and commercial facilities.

• On-call roster approximately every 6 weeks, 10am–6pm. Callouts outside these hours paid at double time (min. 4 hours)

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform maintenance tasks including inspections, classifications, and repairs across City of Sydney facilities
• Carry out planned maintenance works including RPZ and TMVs
• Respond to reactive works such as blocked drains, toilets, hot water system repairs, and gutter/downpipe clearing
• Communicate effectively with customers and support other trades to ensure high satisfaction
• Complete administrative tasks including quotes, purchase orders, job dockets, minor estimates, and technical reports
  
  

About you:

• Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent trade qualification
• RPZ (backflow) and TMV experience preferred
• Experience in roofing maintenance (waterproofing or flashing) highly regarded
• Valid Driver’s Licence and White Card
• Willingness to undergo a police check
