Rigger/TA's & Scaffolders - Qenos

About the role
Ventia has a long-standing partnership with Qenos, and we are seeking Intermediate and/or Advanced Rigger/ TA’s & Scaffolders for casual work to join a program of work at their Altona Facility. 

 

What you will be doing

You will utilise your previous experience in shutdown style works to perform Execution and Run out works associated with the shutdown. 

 

  • $51.57 per hour (plus 25% of casual loading and superannuation)
  • LAHA & Accommodation is NOT provided for this role
  • Estimated starting dates are 16th & 30th September | 14th October
  • Estimated Roster will be Monday – Saturday, 9.5 hour days

 

About you

  • To be successful in application you must be able to complete a medical. 
  • Prior experience in similar roles and projects experience with Various Cranes & Lifting equipment  
  • Competent developing, implementing and following risk assessments. 
  • Understand and adhere to JHA's before commencing work 
  • Experience working under Permit to Work systems and adhering to Permit to Work conditions 
  • Ability to use tools and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner 
  • Demonstrate ability to conduct work safely at heights 
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels 

 

The successful candidate will have the following tickets, licences and experience

  • Valid Driver's license 
  • High Risk Work License – Intermediate and/or Advanced Rigging (RB/RI/RA) 
  • Working Safely at Heights (valid within 2 years) and ability to organise a refresher course if expired
  • Confined Space (valid within 2 years) and ability to organise a refresher course if expired
  • Ability to pass a medical 
  • High Risk EWP & LF - not essential but highly regarded
  • First Aid Certificate - not essential but highly regarded
  • Open or C6 Crane License - not essential but highly regarded
