ITS Project Electrician

We require a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our Sydney Roads and Asset Performance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) including traffic signals, variable message signs, over-height detection systems, and traffic counters.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installation & Maintenance of traffic signals and ITS equipment across Sydney and Regional NSW.
• Solo field work with support from subcontractors and internal teams.
• Material preparation for upcoming projects.
• Emergency response coordination and fault finding.
• On-call duties one day per week and one weekend per month.
• Day & night shifts with proper rest and recovery time.
• Minimal travel regionally – accommodation and meal allowances covered when required.

About You

• NSW Electrical Licence and relevant trade experience.
• Experience with ITS or traffic signals highly desirable.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and White Card required.
• Willingness to assist outside standard hours when needed.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
