Supervisor Landscaping and Environmental Maintenance

Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer that has been awarded a 10-year contract to deliver water and wastewater repairs, maintenance services, and renewals project works for the City of Gold Coast.
 
About the role 

We have an opportunity for a Supervisor specialising in Landscaping and Environmental maintenance to join the team in a full-time, permanent capacity based at our Arundel depot. The Maintenance Civil Supervisor will provide overall co-ordination and supervision of works to ensure work is completed to the appropriate quality standards, within cost and time parameters.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Work with Planners to schedule resources, plant and equipment, travel, and materials to execute the Maintenance Plan.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of work crews
• Perform administrative tasks - timesheets, scoping documents, safety processes, completion documentation, etc
• Providing coaching and support to crews
• Reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery. 

 
About you  

• Supervisory experience essential. 
• Driver License and Construction Safety Card
• Extensive experience in the planning, set-up, and execution of works.
• Experience in a high-volume Landscaping and Environmental maintenance.
• Demonstrated written communication and IT skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
• Evidence of immunity or willingness to obtain vaccination to gain immunity to Hepatitis A & B

About you  

• Cert IV or higher Project Management qualifications
• Leadership Qualifications (Cert IV Leadership & Management) highly regarded
• Experience in the water sector or civil construction is desirable
• Evidence of immunity or willingness to obtain vaccination to gain immunity to Hepatitis A & B
