About the Role
We are on the hunt for a talented Finance and Administrative professional to play a key role in our exciting journey. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business, both internally and externally, to deliver financial admin services on time and to the highest quality to meet the business needs. You will lead a team of 9 providing support and guidance to your direct reports, developing a happy and engaged team that focus on continuous learning and development. The role of subject matter expert (SME) understands best practice and will lead process improvement initiatives & change management activities within the team’s remit.
The team provides a wide range of services to our transport project teams and as the leader would be accountable for
- Procure to Pay – incl raising PO’s, GRng, Open PO management, supplier issues including Aiba activities, claims etc
- Customer Invoicing and accounts receivable support
- Payroll activities incl daily time sheet support, adjustments, reporting
- End of Month Activities -set and ensure adherence to month end timetable in conjunction with finance Managers
- Plant Equipment process management
- General and Adhoc project support eg documents control
About You
To be successful in this role, you need to have a good understanding of Project Accounting principles (qualified by either diploma and/or experience.) It would be beneficial to have experience in services and construction industries and be familiar with project related. Along with:
- Proven experience in Financial Administration Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder management
- Strong leader who has a continuous improvement mindset
- Systems savvy – SAP, Ariba, Microsoft suit of products, digital time sheets, work management systems and Power BI experience is an advantage
- Exceptionally organized, detail-focused, and efficient, with a knack for resourcefulness, strong follow-through, and a drive to turn ideas into action
- Superb written and verbal communication
