We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Grounds Person to oversee the care and development of ACG Strathallan school grounds, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for students, staff, and visitors.
About The Role
As Head Groundsperson, you will lead our team on site to deliver the work, while being a key point of contact for the Operations Manager from Ventia and the client representatives who are based on site at the school.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Groundsperson who will be responsible for all maintenance of sports fields, cricket wickets, hard surfaces, lawns and gardens.
• Qualification in Turf Management or Horticulture
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and make decision day to day is important
• Experience managing a team of people as well as subcontractors
• Excellent knowledge of groundskeeping equipment and techniques
