People & Capability Business Partner - Telco NZ

This role formally reports to the General Manager People & Capability Telecommunications, but operationally has a dotted reporting line to the Business Performance and Improvement Director for Telco NZ.  You will work closely with leaders in Telco NZ, as well as the managers of the finance, SHEQ, business development and commercial functions.  

Demonstrating your knowledge of HR best practice and leaning on your experience in driving operational efficiencies will be essential in this role. You will support the Business Performance and Improvement Director in the balance between implementing policy and best practice and understanding the commercial impact of our decisions and recommendations.  
 
You
This role will suit an existing Human Resources Business Partner or a Senior People and Capability Advisor who partners with and advises senior leaders. 

Strong relationship building skills will be essential in this role, as is your demonstration of where you have supported the implementation of people strategies in previous positions. 

 

Required Skills and Experience
•    You will be Degree qualified in Human Resources or relevant discipline.  
•    A good understanding of how to implement HR best practice in an operational environment 
•    Demonstrated relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills
•    Change management experience will be beneficial.
•    Strong understanding of NZ Employment law and experience in a unionised environment.
