The Quality Auditor reports to the Performance and Compliance Lead and supports service delivery and the achievement of contract KPI for Ventia’s Tāmaki Makaurau Council Full Facilities Management (FFM) and Streetscapes contracts.  The role works closely with directly employed and subcontractor operational delivery teams to improve quality outcomes and is responsible for auditing both directly provided and subcontracted services covering Open Space, Built Space, streetscapes and FFM.




  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections in accordance with the audit/inspection schedule or as directed by the Performance and Compliance Lead
  • Identify defective works and non-conforming work practices so that timely and appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented
  • Contribute to the ongoing training of operations employees & subcontractors through participation in toolbox meetings, workshops and other related activities.
  • Ensure that inspections are carried out effectively and that non-conforming works are identified so that timely rectification is completed to the required standards




  • Current full Driver’s licence
  • Tertiary qualification or work experience in quality management/auditing
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal, presentation and listening communication skills
