Ventia are looking for a proactive and highly-organised Team Assistant to support our Telco Senior Leadership team in New Zealand

You’ll also have responsibilities for fleet management with the division and own compliance management, while also building a portfolio of projects and events you can truly make your own. ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not your average support role – you’ll be working at the heart of our leadership team, playing a key part in how NZ Telco is run. From owning key internal compliance support and vehicle fleet management processes to coordinating training, booking meetings, and internal events, this is a varied and rewarding opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Providing high-level support to the GM and four Project Directors
- Managing internal training bookings to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Maintaining and owning the fleet master data file – including registrations, vehicle allocation, mileage tracking, and reallocations
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
- Supporting event planning and logistics across the business unit
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Help in putting together reports and working on PowerBI
This role is based at our head office in Karangahape Road with flexibility to work from home on some days.
ABOUT YOU - Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar-support role
- Strong multi-tasker who thrives in a fast paced environment
- High level of trust and integrity – comfortable being privy to confidential business discussions
- Excellent MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Confident communicator with great attention to detail
- A self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and being proactive
