ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking Team Leaders to join our team of skilled, talented and passionate horticulturalists, and landscapers.  You will work with a Trades Assistant and be responsible for maintaining and creating some of the most beautiful parks and greenspaces across Auckland.  With a great team culture, career development opportunities and a competitive hourly rate, what’s not to like.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Overseeing a Trades Assistant
• Completing relevant reports. 
• Using phone app daily to manage jobs
• Running daily toolbox and pre-starts.
• Delivering seasonal tasks such as annual bed rotations 
• Overseeing a Trades Assistant
• General Garden Maintenance including planting pruning, fertilizing, mulching, streepscaping and watering
• Removal of pest plants
• Using an array of small plant equipment including weed eaters, hedge trimmers, blowers etc 

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience in gardening/horticulture a must
• Have a passion for working outdoors and love to see the fruits of your labour
• Are committed to providing the absolute best quality workmanship for our Customers
• Have a class one drivers license - Manual licence required
• Must be physically fit  
• Reliable and always on time for work.
• Comfortable leading and support team members.
• We won’t budge on safety therefore we need someone who is health and safety conscious
• Willing to embrace change and new possibilities
