About the role   

We’re looking for proactive and customer-focused Bar Attendants to join our Hospitality and Catering team. We have multiple opportunities in the Albury Wodonga Military Area, and you’ll assist with food preparation and bar service whilst supporting the implementation of Ventia’s Food Safety Program. You will ensure bar services are supplied in line with RSA standards as well as the upkeep of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and dining areas. 

You’ll also help manage stock, process meals and payments, and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for all customers in the Defence Base site.   

 About you   

• Minimum 1 year of experience in bar or hospitality setting.   
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification  (RSA) (Advantageous) 
• Hygiene for Food Handlers Certificate (training provided if needed).  
• Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards.  
• Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.  
• Current Australian drivers licence. (Advantageous) 
• Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police
