About the role  


As a Cleaning Supervisor, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across Messes, kitchens, bars, and surrounding areas. 
 

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):   

 

  • Organise and assign cleaning tasks across the various areas, ensuring everything runs smoothly 
  • Set cleaning schedules, checklists and conduct audits to ensure high standards are met every time  
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring cleaning tools, products and waste systems are working well and fully stocked 
  • Supervise staff, support their training and development, and handle any performance or conduct issues.  
  • Manage budgets and keep cleaning costs on track - reporting any changes or concerns to management.  
  • Combine your leadership skills and operational oversight to deliver high quality, efficient cleaning services. 
  • Manage the effective use of IT systems such as Deputy and iClean

 

 

About you  

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory or cleaning role 
  • Certificate III in First Aid (advantageous)  
  • You are a safety-focused leader who drives accountability and continuous improvement. You coach and empower teams to deliver operational excellence, embedding safety as a core value in every aspect of work.   • Strong multitasking and time management skills 
  • Proficient in Windows-based office systems 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to compliance and safety 
  • Problem-solver with a drive for continual improvement 
  • Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police
