Planner

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.

We are seeking Planners to work in our longstanding contract with Defence, based out of Bandiana, in Albury/Wodonga. 

Reporting to the Senior Regional Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring effective, efficient, and best practice planning, scheduling, resourcing, progress monitoring, performance assessment and reporting by regularly coordinating with the client on progress and performance.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday (12pm finishes on Fridays).

Duties:

• Planning network maintenance activities and programs.
• Recording the maintenance plan in the Commonwealth Mandated Information System.
• Using the Commonwealth Mandated Information System for Work Order management, maintenance task scheduling, parts requisition, and parts management.
• Liaising with JLU customers for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly requirements.
• Contributing to collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives and analysing and recommending improvements to current Ventia and Defence maintenance practices.
   

About you:

• Possess relevant qualifications in Planning and Scheduling.
• Demonstrated at least three years’ experience in conducting planning and scheduling activities within a complex maintenance environment, including working with trade staff, coordinating repair parts and other resources.
• Demonstrated experience in managing customer service and customer expectations.
• Good problem-solving skills, writing and analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
• Relevant professional qualifications are desirable.
