About the role 

Ventia are seeking a Vehicle Inspector/Detailer, where you’ll be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of military vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. 

Based in Bandiana, you’ll perform detailed cleaning and maintenance, prepare inspection reports, and implement quality assurance processes to keep vehicles in pristine condition. You will be working closely with military personnel to understand their needs, coordinate repairs, manage inventory, and troubleshoot where needed – while ensuring you maintain a safe, organised work environment in line with Defence regulations. 

About you  

• 3+ years’ experience in vehicle inspection and detailing 
• Vocational training in automotive technology (certifications such as ASE or CVI desirable) 
• Strong, in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and inspection tools 
• Expertise in detailing techniques and compliance with safety standards 
• Experience in defence regulations and safety standards highly desired  
• Current Australian drivers licence. (Advantageous) 
• Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police
