As an Australian Defence Force partner, Ventia works across some of Australia’s newest, most unique equipment including artillery, small arms, instruments, night vision equipment, high-tech armoured vehicles, personnel carriers, and propulsion equipment.
The role of Workforce Planning Coordinator is responsible for all training related support activities across the DMC workforce to enable an integrated, qualified and skilled delivery of DMC Maintenance and Support Services. The Workforce Planning Coordinator is also responsible for planning and support to domestic and overseas exercises and operations through focused coordination and communications to provide a dedicated rapid and flexible response to unplanned surge requirements.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Maintaining positive relations with the Commonwealth
- Ensure compliance with AIC Obligations through development and implementation of the AIC Plan relevant to workforce capability
- Identify and promote opportunities for enhancing the quality of Australian Industry participation
- Develop strategies to support Australian Industry to achieve a capability where diversity is promoted to enhance productivity and act as a force multiplier
- Provide AIC progress and performance reports to the Commonwealth for the required reporting periods
- Oversee and manage subcontractor services ensuring skills, qualifications and safety standards are met
About You:
- Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment
- Strong knowledge of the defence industry and ideally experience working at a Defence base.
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Experience with Project Management methodologies
- It is mandatory you are an Australian Citizen, ideally with Base Line Security Clearance. You must have the ability to attain NV1 Security clearance.
