A great opportunity for the NEW YEAR! Join Ventia as a Cleaning Supervisor in our South East Queensland (SEQ) Schools Project, committed to delivering comprehensive management, hard and soft facilities maintenance to Murrumba State Secondary College. This role will commence on the 13th of January 2025, is full time hours (38hrs/week) and is fixed term 12 months contract.

About the Role
As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of cleaning services at Murrumba State Secondary College. Reporting to the Contract Services Manager, you will lead a small cleaning team and collaborate closely with operational staff to achieve our service goals. Your responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to) supervisory duties, ensuring compliance, facilitating communication with clients and stakeholders, conducting inspections, administration and rostering, and assisting the Facility Manager as required.
The role requires flexibility in working hours to align with operational requirements, including availability across a split shift roster (4am to 12pm, 7am to 3pm and 10am to 6pm).
About You
We are seeking a skilled communicator who can effortlessly build rapport with stakeholders. With a hands-on approach, you'll be methodical and systematic in delegating tasks and ensuring their completion.
While previous supervisory experience is preferred, we welcome candidates who have demonstrated leadership qualities in previous roles.
Mandatory requirements for the role are a current drivers licence and reliable transportation and possession of or ability to obtain a Blue Card - Working with Children along with sound computer and communication skills.
You must also hold full working rights for Australia.
