Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

About the role

Utilita Water Solutions is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer, and performs planned, corrective and responsive maintenance services on a diverse range of water and wastewater assets across South East Queensland.

Our Electrical cope of work is large and varied and includes electrical and instrumentation preventative maintenance and breakdown repair availability on the water and wastewater infrastructure, across the network. The work is approximately 50/50 split between Electrical & Instrumentation. 

We have opportunities work on the Northern side of Brisbane (based out of Eagle Farm Depot), and the Southern/Western & Ipswich region (based out of Archerfield Depot). This is an opportunity within a growth industry, working with a larger team of experienced tradespeople who specialise in instrumentation and control systems engineering, hazardous areas and high voltage systems. There is lots to learn and opportunity to grow without our organisation.

About you  

To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

• QLD Electrical Licence is essential 
• Cert 3 Instrumentation Trade qualifications preferred
• Experience in an industrial environment, with water/wastewater highly regarded but not essential 
• Hepatitis A&B vaccinations or willingness to obtain 
• Current Driver’s Licence
