Group SHEQ Governance Manager

The Group SHEQ Governance Manager will support Group SHEQ, Functions and Sectors with the delivery of an effective and integrated approach to maintaining governance with applicable legislative, certification, accreditation and internal requirements.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Lead and guide sectors in SHEQ governance, maintaining and improving Ventia’s integrated management system.
  • Oversee the auditing framework and facilitate the retention and acquisition of certifications and accreditations.
  • Conduct Group-led audits and improve SHEQ systems by developing and simplifying documents, processes, and procedures.
  • Manage VenCentral and ensure continuous improvement of processes and documents.
  • Review and monitor audit performance, manage the annual management review program, and lead the Group & Sector Governance forum.
  • Conduct trend data analysis, provide recommendations for improvement, and contribute to SHEQ campaigns, awards, and programs.


About You:
 

  • Degree in a related field (desirable).
  • Lead auditor qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience as a lead auditor
  • Operational experience (desirable).
  • Understanding of external and regulatory audit regimes.
  • Ability to analyse data and implement strategic objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder influence skills.
  • Experience delivering training (desirable).
