As our Leasing Manager at Ventia you will manage an allocated portfolio of diverse commercial properties.
You will ensure critical dates and key lease events are in line with requirements, negotiate new leases, lease renewals, options, market rent reviews and terminations that support the service delivery conditions.
As an expert in commercial leasing you will ensure compliance and provide leadership and direction to lease administrators and coordinators managing day to day leasing related tasks as well as assisting the broader team and clients regarding enquiries.
Flexible hybrid working environment with time in the office and work from home. We are open to basing this position from either Canberra or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret leases and associated documentation to provide strategic advice and recommendations.
- Liaise with clients and landlords to ensure that key requirements are met.
- Develop and attend regular meetings relating to your portfolio and key critical dates.
- Submission presentations of leasing reports and facilitate property inspections when required.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with key stakeholders including client personnel, consultants, subcontractors, contract managers and Ventia Property leadership team.
- Represent Ventia at Industry and client events nationally.
- Lead, support and encourage a culture of high performance with care and diversity of option from our people including mentoring and inclusivity.
Your skills:
- Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration
- Demonstrated experience in property transactions for commercial properties.
- Experience in property portfolio strategic planning working across multiple complex stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, well developed communications – both verbal and written.
- Due to some of the client arrangements for this role you will be required to be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance if successful for position.
