Storeperson

The Role 
Ventia are seeking a Warehouse / Store Person to join our Defence team in Bundamba. This is a full-time position working a 9-day fortnight.    

Responsibilities 

• Perform stores, warehousing, distribution and transport activities 
• Ensure proper custody of stores, e.g. stock check of quantities check for deterioration of equipment, expiry of shelf life & Security of inventory 
• Apply quality control techniques to your work and to the work of other staff 
• Participate in monthly Toolbox Meetings 

  
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge 

• Store, Warehouse, Distribution, Transport experience 
• Defence Industry background and experience with Defence Inventory Systems (MILIS) is a plus
• Drivers Licence (Car / Light rigid truck) 
• Current Forklift License (LF) 
• Must be Australian Citizen capable of obtaining a Defence Security Clearance
