The Opportunity

Join Ventia on our Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) Contract. Reporting to the Head of Leasing, our Leasing Manager will manage all aspects of leasing delivery for the WoAG Contract.

 

X1 permanent full-time position located in Forrest ACT.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Manage allocated portfolio of critical dates and key lease events in line with the Clients requirements and contractual obligations of the WoAG Deed
  • Provide leadership and direction to lease administrators/coordinators
  • Negotiate New Leases, Lease Renewals, Options and Market Rent Reviews that support the service delivery requirements of the client
  • Ensure compliance with client approval processes, and maintain accurate records on Leasing related services and activities
  • Manage day to day leasing related tasks, as well as assisting the broader team and client with leasing related queries
  • Accurately interpreting lease and associated documents; and providing strategic advice as well as recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaise with clients and landlords daily to ensure that key requirements are met
  • Establishing and maintaining strong work working relationships with key stakeholders including Entity personnel, consultants, and internal service delivery teams
  • Facilitate and Undertake Property Inspections when required
  • Promote and lead continuous improvement in all areas of leasing operations

 

Could you be our Leasing Manager?

  • Must be an Australian Citizen
  • Extensive experience (3 years minimum) in property transactions and associated services
  • Collaborative and supportive management style
  • Good understanding of Commonwealth policies including the PGPA and LAA Act
  • Working knowledge of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework (RMG 500)
  • Experience in property portfolio strategic planning with multiple stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules; specifically related to property and real estate related procurement
  • Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration is a must
