About The Role

We're seeking an Area Supervisor to join our high-performing team on the NBN N2P Project, where you'll play a critical role in driving construction excellence, leading field teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of work across multiple sites.
What you’ll be doing:
As an Area Supervisor, you’ll coordinate and lead a team of trade-based personnel, field supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities across NBN sites
- Ensure site safety, environmental compliance, and work quality
- Monitor project progress to meet deadlines and budget goals
- Coach and mentor your team for high performance and career development
- Build collaborative relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Foster a strong safety culture, aligned with Ventia’s “Safety and Health above all else” principles
About You
- Previous experience supervising construction or telecom teams in a field-based environment
- Trade or technical qualification (preferred)
- Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to drive safety, quality, and performance outcomes
- Confidence using digital tools and reporting systems
