Area Supervisor

About The Role

Are you a proven leader in construction or telecommunications who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment? Do you have a strong safety focus and the drive to deliver high-quality infrastructure outcomes?

We're seeking an Area Supervisor to join our high-performing team on the NBN N2P Project, where you'll play a critical role in driving construction excellence, leading field teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of work across multiple sites.

What you’ll be doing:

As an Area Supervisor, you’ll coordinate and lead a team of trade-based personnel, field supervisors, and subcontractors.

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities across NBN sites
• Ensure site safety, environmental compliance, and work quality
• Monitor project progress to meet deadlines and budget goals
• Coach and mentor your team for high performance and career development
• Build collaborative relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Foster a strong safety culture, aligned with Ventia’s “Safety and Health above all else” principles

 
About You

• Previous experience supervising construction or telecom teams in a field-based environment
• Trade or technical qualification (preferred)
• Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to drive safety, quality, and performance outcomes
• Confidence using digital tools and reporting systems
