About the Role:

 
As our People & Culture Business Partner on our Court Services & Custodial Support Contract you will provide proactive and strategic P&C advice to deliver high performance outcomes for our business leaders supporting key P&C initiatives.

 

Accountable for P&C activity across the contract this is a true generalist role that will have a key focus on various P&C deliverables including employee relations, performance management, change management, workforce planning, engagement, training and development, coaching and career talent management as well a range of Diversity and inclusion initiatives.

 

Your knowledge of relevant ER/IR legislation and understanding and experience negotiating in Unionised environments will challenge your excellent collaboration and communication skills.

 

This position will be based from our Canning Vale office with on-site parking available.

 

To build and develop your relationships with stakeholders across the contract we would like the successful individual to be available to work full time hours in the office for a period of 6 months prior to transitioning to a hybrid working environment.

 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Execute people plans that directly enable delivery of business strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, senior leaders and ensure people objectives and outcomes are achieved.
  • Industrial relations assisting the business and our leaders in negotiations to deliver strategic and commercially viable outcomes.
  • Workforce planning actively contributing to business initiatives to optimise efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with internal functions including our employee relations, people services, advisory and payroll teams to ensure people matters are dealt with in line with company policy. 
     

Key Knowledge and Experience:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in culture, DEI people workforce participation programs and project delivery.
  • Knowledge and application of change and talent management.
  • Knowledge of relevant ER/IR legislation and understanding of Unionised environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills – both verbal and written.
