Project Planner
Ventia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Planner, that will see you support the Project Manager to deliver the scope of work on the internationally acclaimed Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) Project. 

This is a permanent Full-Time position, working Monday to Friday in Canning Vale with travel required to site approximately once per year.

About the project 
The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project is an international effort supported by 16 countries to build the world’s largest radio telescopes, led by the SKAO. 

Ventia has been awarded a significant part of the contract and is leveraging our telecommunications capabilities for this exciting project. Our scope includes the provision of power and fibre networks, and the design and commission of a Central Processing Facility (CPF) and Remote Processing Facilities (RPF) at the Australian site. 

About the role

• Work with the Project Manager to coordinate key project activities
• Overseas Procurement Coordination, shipping and tracking
• Work with Finance to ensure correct cost allocation and close out Compensation Events
• Arrange and coordinate project meetings and special functions
• Provide inputs for the Monthly Report
• Special assignments as required by the Project Director
• Assist with onboarding of new starters

About you

• Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong ability to plan, organise, and oversee complex projects
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills with experience in SAP highly regarded
• Strong background in finance (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
