Project Engineer - Electrical / Mechanical

Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three regional delivery consortia providing services in partnership with Sydney Water. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water's North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our North Delivery Team team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to help deliver a number of critical infrastructure projects. You will demonstrate skills across all disciplines including SMP, E&I and Commissioning with highly regarded experience in Water Treatment Infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of your projects, commencing with concept design of a greenfield site, and continuing into construction and commissioning. We are looking for a Delivery PE in this instance, not client side or consulting experience. 

ABOUT YOU

• Relevant Degree in Engineering - Mechanical highly regarded
• Industrial experience with water treatment plants from an Electrical / Mechanical delivery perspective
• Strong acumen of construction methodologies, processes, standards
• Ability to manage multiple project packages concurrently
• Developing mentoring skills and an appetite for developing others
• Demonstrated management and organisational skills
• Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
• Demonstrated written communication and IT skills
• An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
