Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three regional delivery consortia providing services under Sydney Water's Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services in Sydney Water's North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

 

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Centralised Services Team Lead, the Stores/Inventory/Project Administrator is responsible for end to end purchasing & procurement of parts, consumables, and tooling, maintaining the physical stores and management of goods movements in and out of the store and relevant systems, in accordance with Confluence Water policies and procedures. Assist with stock movement control, auditing and stock-takes, SAP/Maximo data entry and work order close outs, goods receipting of orders, general consumables and material processes as directed by Maintenance Planning Team, Supervisors and Area Manager requirements.  This role is based at the Sydney Water Pymble Depot.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the store as a safe, tidy, and orderly environment.  
  • Manage freight and logistics service providers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to site. 
  • Manage the physical movement of goods within the store including use of forklifts and appropriate storage as required (e.g. environmental). 
  • Inventory procurement/ordering/processing.
  • Validate goods receipt against delivery documentation ensuring damage or short deliveries are identified. 
  • Liaise regularly with relevant project personnel to ensure pending deliveries and other movements are planned for and delivery information is communicated in a timely manner. 
  • SAP/Maximo data entry and work order creation, including like for like asset replacement projects.
  • Assist with purchase order entries and other transactions as required.

  • Forklift Licence (desirable non-essential)
