Electrical Fitter

Calling all Industrial Electricians!

Underpinned by a long-term contract with a major HV industry player, as well as a recently secured multi-million-dollar project for a Solar Farm build, our Christchurch Stations team is entering a growth phase. We are looking for candidates that take pride in their work, are willing to learn, and would like to establish a career in Canterbury. EWRB Registration is a must!

About the Role 
We are currently looking to fill Four Electrical Fitter positions in Christchurch. 
 
In this role, you will be part of a growing team of dedicated and highly skilled staff, working in a high-voltage substation environment. The work is varied and will range from maintenance, installation and commissioning transformers, circuit breakers, voltage transformers, current transformers, protection relays, battery banks and LV electrical work. 
  
About You   
•    EWRB and Current Practising License  
•    NZ Class 1 Driver’s License 
•    A minimum of 5+ years' experience as an Industrial Electrician 
•    Certified Electrician with NZ registration 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills 
•    Demonstrate high levels of understanding of and adherence to the Health and Safety practices and regulations of the High Voltage Industry 
•    Hands on role.
