ABOUT THE ROLE
Based in Christchurch or Palmerston North, this is a relationship-focused leadership role where people, culture, and connection come first.
As Operations Manager for Critical Infrastructure and Wireless, you will take the lead in delivering key fibre and wireless network projects across the Lower North and South Island, supporting essential infrastructure and high-value wireless clients.
Key responsibilities
- Inspire and support your team, including Area Managers and a mix of permanent staff and subcontractors
- Ensure safe, high-quality delivery of projects – from planning through to successful outcomes
- Oversee budgets, resourcing, and performance, while keeping client needs at the centre
- Drive thoughtful improvements through innovation and smart technologies
- Lead with integrity and promote a “right-first-time” culture
- Balance operational goals with personal development and wellbeing of your team

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

- A steady problem-solver who brings curiosity, resilience, and insight to new challenges
- Comfortable with commercial responsibility, including bidding and financial stewardship
