Project Services is a new centralised function within Ventia’s Telecommunications sector that unifies three specialist teams – Process, Systems & Governance; Subcontractor Enablement; and Land Access & Stakeholder Engagement – into a single, cohesive hub
Project Services is transforming the Telecommunications division by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and implementing robust automation processes.
The Automation Specialist plays an active role in driving these objectives through the development and implementation of automation solutions, improving process efficiencies and supporting continuous improvement across operational systems.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using advanced tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, RPA platforms).
- Test automation solutions rigorously to ensure reliability, scalability, and effectiveness before implementation.
- Ensure developed automation processes integrate effectively with existing operational and IT systems (SAP, Maximo, Microsoft platforms & Internal systems).
- Provide regular performance reports, highlighting successes, identifying issues, and recommending enhancements.
- Provide comprehensive training and support materials to assist operational teams in utilising automation tools effectively.
About you
- Proven experience automation development and systems integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields (Desirable)
- Certifications in automation technologies (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate). (Desirable)
- Advanced expertise in automation software and scripting languages (Python, RPA).
- Proficient in developing robust, scalable automation solutions.
- Solid understanding of IT systems integration and data management practices.
