EOI - Clothing Supply Chain Analyst

Ventia is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Clothing Supply Chain Analyst to join our Business Management Team within the Defence Clothing System (DCS). Reporting to the Clothing Logistics Integration Manager, this role is critical in turning complex data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, strategic decision-making, and service excellence across our national logistics network
This role will ideally be based in Melbourne, but consideration may be give to other locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends and forecast outcomes.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with operations teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
- Maintain and manage databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Apply predictive modelling and machine learning techniques to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Defence data standards and security protocols.
What You’ll Bring
- Formal qualifications in Data Analytics or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a logistics environment.
- Proficiency in Defence systems such as MILIS/ERP.
- Experience in the Defence sector (preferred).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a small team.
- Australian Citizenship (required for Defence Security Clearance eligibility).
Special Conditions
- Must hold or be eligible for Defence Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, or PV).
- Must pass an Australian Federal Police check and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Completion of mandatory annual Defence training is required.
About the Contract
Ventia has recently been appointed as the single industry partner for a transformative new contract supporting the Australian Defence Force’s clothing capability. Commencing mid-2026, this seven-year agreement (with potential extension for additional 13 years) will modernise and streamline clothing services for Defence personnel. Ventia will collaborate with expert Australian organisations to deliver end-to-end solutions including design, supply, warehousing, distribution, and retail store services, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and exceptional value for the Commonwealth.
