Electrical Team Lead - Telecommunications

The Electrical Site Supervisor will oversee the construction of electrical, Telepower, Common Station Facilities (CSF) and Building Engineering Systems (BES) projects ensuring key deliverables are met. This position involves coordination internally for effective planning and scheduling of project delivery. You will be required to travel to various remote locations to manage on site activities approx. 2 days a fortnight.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering CSF, BES, and Telepower projects
• Collaborate with power authorities for seamless electrical infrastructure connections
• Take full ownership of electrical works, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely
• Assist the design team by conducting power viability audits at targeted sites
• Support the construction team in delivering a comprehensive program of works
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and checks
• Manage material requirements for projects
• Provide progress reports
   

What we’re looking for:

• Electrical license required
• Experience in a similar on-site supervisory role managing projects is essential
• Telco experience – knowledge of Telepower, electrical, generators, CSF & BES  
• NSW current and valid Drivers License
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Competent in Microsoft office suites  
• Strong adherence to safety, environmental and quality requirements

The ICF fibre network is a once-in-a-lifetime project upgrading the national inter-city network with advanced optic fibre cables. It will enhance capacity between capital cities and remote communities, improving performance and connectivity across regional Australia to support bandwidth growth for the next 25+ years.
