Accommodation Clerk

Ventia is on the lookout for a passionate Accommodation Clerk to bring precision, energy, and heart to our Defence Base Services contract in Darwin, NT. If you thrive on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and enjoy making life easier for others, this could be your perfect role.

As the go-to point for room bookings, cleanliness coordination, and quality control, you’ll ensure Defence personnel have a seamless and comfortable stay—because great service starts with great organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the charge in room booking and allocation for personnel posted or transiting through the base

• Track and manage keys like a vault master (arrival, departure, and safe storage)

• Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and respond to service requests like a hospitality ninja

• Keep records sharp: occupancy stats, rank-room reports, logbooks, inventory and condition checks

• Liaise with leadership to align accommodation with rank and availability

• Perform quality room inspections to ensure everything is functional and welcoming

• Welcome deliveries, manage IT programs related to bookings, and assist visitors and trades

What We're Looking For

• Valid C Class Australian Driver’s Licence

• Experience in hotels or similar hospitality setting—huge plus!

• A self-starter with commitment, initiative, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure
