The Role
Due to continued growth Trace JV are currently seeking an experienced, qualified Lead Training Assessor & Verification of competency. This potential position will see you based in Perth managing the training of a large white and blue-collar workforce for a major LNG turnaround. This fast-paced and diverse role will require you to be fast thinking, highly organised and have excellent time management skills. This is a Fixed- Term position during a Shutdown and will require you to travel to Darwin frequently. 

 

Requirements
Duties will include but not limited to: 

  • Ensuring compliance with legislated safety and training requirements, and company and client safety and training standards.
  • Management of complex training matrix’s
  • Experience training and leading the training team
  • Booking & management of training courses & VOC’s (Verification of competency)
  • Management of multiple systems and the interfaces between them
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels
  • Ensuring VOC’s are completed prior to mobilisation  
     

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • You need to have experience within Shutdown's
  • Exposure to CVS, ERMS or similar highly regarded
  • Advanced user of Excel, Power point, MS Word & Office outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must enjoy fast paced evolving environment
  • Experience in resources sector highly regarded
  • Cert IV in training & assessing highly regarded
  • Must be proactive & flexible 
  • This is a fixed term position, you may be required to travel to Darwin occasionally.
