Lifeguard

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services and maintenance support company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities and National Defence capability.
 
In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we are seeking a Lifeguard to join us on a Casual basis at RAAF Base East Sale located in Sale, Victoria
 
Reporting to the Sport and Recreation Leading Hand, you will oversee and maintain the Pool, facilities and equipment on site. 

This is a casual role, and shifts will operate over a Monday to Sunday roster.
Shift times will vary between the hours of 6.15am to 8.15pm from Monday to Friday & 7.45am to 8.15pm on weekends.

Duties include:

• Monitor the pool to ensure safety of users 
• Ensure facilities are safe and clean and maintaining a register of all pool bookings 
• Ensure all pool facilities, toilets, showers and change rooms are clean
• Maintaining a record of pool equipment and adhering to a daily count of equipment 
• Auditing, filing and administration work  

Skills and Experience:

• Lifeguard certificate – essential
• First aid certificate 
• Must have or be willing to obtain a WWCC 
• Candidates must be willing to work weekdays and weekends on a roster 
• Must be able to pass a medical and drug/alcohol test 
• AU Citizenship

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
