Carpenter

The Role

Ventia are seeking experienced Trade Qualified Carpenters with experience in maintenance and joinery to undertake a range of maintenance activities including preventative maintenance and planned works. This role will see you based at Edinburgh Defence Precinct in a permanent fulltime position.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct maintenance tasks and repair work on buildings
• Complete work orders and verify tasks in accordance with defence requirements
• Report and qualify detected equipment faults to supervisors
• Responsible for costing of small works
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with job timing, work scheduling, work instructions and job plans in conjunction with technical services.

Requirements

• Trade Certificate in Carpentry - Required
• Hold a Valid Australian Drivers Licence - Required
• Be experienced within facilities and commercial maintenance - Required
• Must be an Australian citizen capable of obtaining a Defence Security Clearance
