Electrician

The Role
Ventia are seeking an experienced Electrician to maintain the operation and management of assets, for Edinburgh Defence Precinct. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of electrical equipment and systems through planned and unplanned maintenance work under the Defence Base Services contract. This role will see you based at Edinburgh Defence Precinct in a permanent fulltime position.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the integrity of all electrical equipment 
• Range of planned maintenance
• Working unsupervised – ensuring all safety obligations are met
• Acts as a role model for a positive HSE culture in the workplace; encouraging your team

Requirements

• Fully qualified, holding a SA Electrical Licence - Required
• Knowledge of LV networks – Required
• Knowledge of HV Networks - Desirable
• Extensive fault-finding knowledge - Desirable
• Experience with solar panels - desirable 
• Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
• Must be an Australian citizen capable of obtaining a Defence Security Clearance
