Store Service Attendant

Ventia proudly provides clothing and personal equipment services to the Australian Defence Force, applying 30 years of expert knowledge to meet its unique functional needs. Specific service offerings include inventory management, issue and sale of Defence clothing items, combat uniforms and equipment; specialist kitting activities for training, exercises and operational requirements; standard and bespoke tailoring services; manufacture of name tags; court mounting of medals, miniatures and ribbon bars.

You will be a key member of our stores team in supporting Ventia’s Defence National Clothing Store Services contract in Enoggera, QLD. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic team player with a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Receive, check and acquit stores under supervision
• Stock packing and preparation for despatch
• Assist with kit issues for customers
• Inspect and accept return items
• Manual handling using various methods

Key skills & Attributes:

• Previous customer service /warehouse/ retail duties
• Drivers Licence and own transport - required
• Proficient computer skills
• Work in a Team / Customer Service environment
• High attention to detail, accuracy and time management

  Must be eligible to hold a Defence baseline security clearance. As a result of this requirement, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
