Ventia’s Western Power contract has just secured the next 12 months package of work, and we're on the lookout for qualified Distribution Cable Jointer’s to join our team!  We’re also raising our rates AGAIN making us the highest paying contract in town! As a Distribution Cable Jointer you will perform routine planned maintenance and project work according to Western Powers standards and specifications and will enjoy the following:

• $59.27 PLUS $4.00 per hour site allowance 
• Consistent working away opportunities

• Regional and Metropolitan work - LAFHA for regional work up to $355 per day
• Another rate escalation coming in October 2025

About you:

• Proven experience carrying out Distribution Jointing
• Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing (UET30819) or equivalent
• Current driver's licence – C class
• Paper Lead HV and LV qualifications – desirable 
• SACs accreditation - desirable
• EWP, HRWL - DG, LF, CV or higher - desirable
• Bring a friendly and upbeat energy to the team

The scope of work will include the delivery of maintenance and Project services across Western Power's transmission, distribution network and the maintenance of large complex assets, whilst servicing customers in city centres, regional and remote communities.
