Cleaner

Ventia is offering long-term employment with the NSW Whole of Government Cleaning Contract for people with backgrounds in cleaning and/or hospitality for full time hours split shifts from 5am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm.  We are looking for people who can work in the following sites:

• The Ponds High School
• Madang Avenue Public School
• Glenmore Park High School

Please note we require you to have 5 days availability across Monday to Friday.

To promote work-life balance, we offer the following shifts:

• Permanent, 8 hour, positions available for split shifts (Full time basis, 5am - 9am and 2 pm - 6pm)
• Early morning shift: 5am - 9am
• Afternoon shift: 2pm - 6pm

Key Duties:

• Cleaning of all touch points (taps, bubblers, handrails, door handles, bathrooms etc)
• External Cleaning (Leaf blowing, rubbish and cobweb removal)
• Mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of toilets
• Maintenance of stock supplies and orders
• Duties will vary from site to site

The skills and experience of a successful candidate include:

• No cleaning experience needed.
• Good communication and time management skills
• An eye for detail and proactive approach
• The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will provide high quality Cleaning Services to the Public Schools, TAFE Colleges, and Government Buildings. The suitable applicant must have reliable transport to and from work. You must also be able to pass a National Police Check, Pre-Employment Medical (including drug & alcohol testing), and obtain a paid Working with Children Check, prior to commencement.
